Terms of service
Welcome, by using my website to buy new and secondhand jewellery, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. About Us
JK Treasures is a UK-based online shop that sells both new and secondhand jewellery within the UK only. My goal is to offer quality, unique pieces at affordable prices.
2. Products
- Most of the jewellery I sell is secondhand and pre-loved unless stated otherwise.
- I do my best to describe the items clearly and accurately, including any signs of wear or damage.
- Due to the nature of secondhand jewellery, items may not be in perfect condition and will often show signs of wear/age and may on occasion require a clean. I always try to provide clear photos and descriptions, plus videos where I can.
- Images, as in all jewellery adverts everywhere, are zoomed in so you can see the detail, so please see the measurements given.
- My items DO NOT come with guarantees, warranties or certificates of authenticity and I do not know any information about gemstone colour treatments/enhancements, carat weightings. etc, unless it specifically says so in the individual listing.
- When a listing states that the jewellery comes in a black leatherette box, these boxes are new. However, as the majority of my jewellery is preloved, most of it comes in their original boxes and therefore the boxes may show wear. This is particularly the case for my Clogau items. Unless I specifically say they are new Clogau boxes, then you should expect some wear.
3. Placing an Order
- To make a purchase, simply select your items and follow the checkout process on my website.
- By placing an order, you are making an offer to buy the items. I will confirm your order by sending you an email once it’s processed.
- All prices are in GBP (£)
- I accept payment by Shoppay, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google pay, credit and debit cards
4. Shipping and Delivery
- I aim to dispatch orders via Royal Mail within 1-2 business days from when your payment is confirmed.
- Shipping costs will be added at checkout.
- PLEASE NOTE that I only deliver within the UK sorry.
- Please make sure your shipping address is correct when you place your order. I cannot be responsible for items delivered to the wrong address due to customer error.
- Most items will need to be signed for. It is your responsibility to ensure someone is home to sign for your item or for you to arrange a redelivery or collection from Royal Mail if you missed a delivery.
5. Returns and Refunds

If you change your mind after purchasing an item or the item does not fit or for any other reason, I will accept returns within 14 days of you receiving the item but I WILL NOT refund your initial postage (as I would have had to spend this posting you the item) and YOU - THE BUYER will pay the return postage. The item must be returned in original boxes and in the condition you received it, you must not have worn it, plus you must use an appropriate postal service. The majority do not insure fine jewellery and the item will not be refunded until it is received safely by myself. Royal Mail Special Delivery DOES insure fine jewellery. Using the tracked services is NOT good enough for fine jewellery, as if it goes missing or gets damaged in the post, Royal Mail will not pay out ANY compensation and you will NOT get refunded. I strongly advise you to check the size of items first and check your finger size before making any orders, thus reducing the chance of needing to return an item. If you do somehow receive an item that is not as described or is damaged/not working and the fault has not been previously disclosed in either the description, photos or video, then I will provide a full refund, including return postage, upon return of the item, within 30 days of purchase. If the description discloses that an item has previously been repaired or a ring has evidence of resizing, I will not provide any refunds for issues arising due to this, i.e. a ring splitting at the resizing joint, etc. PLEASE NOTE that any gemstone jewellery runs the risk of losing a stone whether it’s a new or preloved piece. I am not the manufacturer and WILL NOT be held responsible for this if it happens. If I see any obvious faults with claws/settings I will say in the description, as I always aim to do but I can’t be held responsible for stones being lost after purchase. The majority of my items are preloved, often vintage and are therefore likely to show some signs of age and wear and on occasion, may benefit from a clean. Damage that occurs to an item after it has been received will not be refunded. Any damage noted upon delivered needs to be reported to me by email within 3 days of receiving the item, you then have the 30 days from receipt to send it back for a full refund.

6. Item Condition and Authenticity
- I do my best to carefully inspected all my jewellery for quality and authenticity.
- Whilst I take great care to ensure the accuracy of my descriptions, I am not a professional jeweller or an expert in the field of gem identification, etc. If you have questions about gem identity or anything to do with the jewellery, please ask. Please note that vintage or secondhand items often show signs of wear and I will try my best to highlight this in the listing.
- If you have any concerns about the condition or authenticity of an item, please feel free to contact me before making a purchase.

7. Privacy and Security
- I respect your privacy. Any personal information you provide will be used solely for processing your order and delivering your items.
- I will never share your personal details with third parties without your consent, except where necessary to complete your order (e.g., with Royal Mail).

9. Liability
- I am not liable for any loss or damage caused by circumstances beyond my control (e.g., delivery delays, accidents, etc.).
- My total liability to you will be limited to the value of the goods you have purchased.
10. Changes to These Terms
- I may update these terms and conditions from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and the new terms will apply from the date they are posted.
- Please check this page regularly to stay informed about any changes.
