This is a beautiful vintage necklace, hallmarked on the bale of the pendant for BB (Brooks & Bentley) and the Birmingham date letter for 1994. The pendant itself measures 5cm from the top of the bale and 3cm across. The engraved arms of the cross are in solid sterling silver but the central rose and the swirled ends of the arms are plated in 22ct gold. I have seen an unworn version of this necklace and the yellow gold is a lot brighter on it, this plating has worn over the last 31 years to give a much more subtle and gentle colour difference, I actually think it’s prettier this way. It comes on a 20” (not 24” as it says on the certificate) silver twist chain that is stamped STERLING on the clasp. It’s in its original box and has the little authenticity card which certifies that the Lovers Rose Cross is an original design of fine jewellery created exclusively for Brooks & Bentley. Each piece has been exquisitely crafted in solid sterling silver and plated with 22 carat gold. The necklace, original box and certificate are over 30 years old, so there are signs of wear and age but they are generally in good condition.

This does not include any damage caused by yourself to the jewellery after the item has been received.If you change your mind or the item does not fit or for any other reason, I will accept returns within 14 days of you receiving the item but you will pay the initial postage and the return postage. The item must be returned in original boxes and in the condition you received it.
