This is a pretty ring, fully hallmarked for 9ct yellow gold with the Birmingham assay and 1980 date mark. The ring itself is in pretty good condition with only small signs of wear and very clear stamps and hallmarks. However, the amethyst cabochon is in terrible condition, it is pitted and has chips missing all over it, goodness knows what’s been done to this poor ring. This all makes the stone quite a dull purple but the 8 diamonds set into the petals sparkle beautifully. I actually really like this ring as it is (and quite a few others have said how pretty it is and didn't notice the damage because they weren't looking for it) because I like the matt dull purple centre and I probably wouldn’t change it but there is always the potential of taking this ring to a jewellers and having the central stone changed to anything you like. I have priced the ring based on these factors. The flower head measures 1cm across, the amethyst is 4mm across. It will come in a new black leatherette box.

The item must be returned in original boxes and in the condition you received it.
