This is a stunning, hard to find Vintage Clogau necklace, featuring a 9ct yellow and rose gold Tree of Life pendant, measuring 2.5cm from the top of the bale and 1.2cm wide on a 14ct solid yellow gold wire chain, measuring 16” in length and about 1mm wide. The back of the pendant has the 375 Clogau hallmark with the Sheffield assay office stamp, dating it to between 1975 and 1998. The chain is a genuine, original one with the clasp and links being stamped 585 and 14K. There is also a Birmingham Import stamp and a Y date mark for 1998. Clogau only made a few necklace designs with the wire chain, so these are hard to find. The 9ct gold pendant weighs 1.42g and the 14ct gold chain weighs 2.32g, total weight is 3.74g (worked out using the pot shown due to the difficulty of weighing the wire). The necklace in is great vintage condition with only small signs of wear on close inspection. It comes in its original box which is showing some wear, as seen in the photos.
